The Mirage Hotel closed its doors after 35 years of business in order to make way for the highly anticipated Hard Rock Hotel. The entire property will be modernized and part of that a 700′ tall guitar shaped tower will be constructed in the pool/volcano area while the remainder of the property transforms over the next 34 months. Miller Environmental will be demolishing the entire property from Las Vegas Blvd. to the face of the hotel, the massive Mirage sign, Love theater, multi-story office building, pool area and the glass rotunda.
